The Haval H9 2.0 is a Chinese SUV that you can increasingly see on our streets. Its stylish and modern design, both inside and out, attracts attention. Let’s talk about what’s under the hood. Here we have 218 hp and 380 Nm — not bad, but admit it, sometimes you want a little more. The thing is, the power is limited at the factory in China for the Russian market to reduce the transport tax. In reality, the engine has much greater potential. And this is where chip tuning comes to the rescue.
With our firmware, we add +55 hp and +100 Nm, and now under your hood, you have 273 hp and 480 Nm. This immediately feels in the dynamics: acceleration becomes noticeably faster, and the delay when pressing the gas pedal disappears. As a result, you get a more agile acceleration, which is pleasant — gaining speed becomes easier, and overtaking other drivers is now safer. The transmission also starts to respond more quickly.
As for fuel consumption, let’s bust the myth — after the chip tuning, fuel consumption does not increase. Changes in the program improve engine efficiency and torque. Now, to drive the same way as before, you need to press the gas pedal less, and fuel consumption will be lower. However, if you floor the gas pedal, consumption will remain the same. In practice, we notice a reduction in fuel consumption of about 1–2 liters, especially for customers who drive in the city.
We install the firmware using our laptop through the OBD diagnostic port. No dismantling — everything is done as safely as possible. Environmental systems remain unchanged; nothing needs to be removed to achieve the result. Shift point requests are adjusted according to the added power. And most importantly — the dealer warranty remains intact!
